the thing is for to make that one screen you just showed, there needed to be several months and a renderfarm, and a development team of about 400 or so workers all working on a huge renderfarm, so a game can easily be more impressive than a cgi, several ps3 games exclusives will make it to cgi level and higher, so i hope your not hoping cgi is goin...
killzone 2 is cgi level, it doesnt have to be perfect, the game could be in its early development, a cgi movie the level of the incredibles took about 3 years and a nearly 100 million dollar budget to make, and the development team without a doubt was 5 to 6 times bigger than what square enix used to make this game which is 100s times longer than the "perfect" cgi's you all claim to be so perfect.
working behind the scenes, any game is possible to go to multiplatform, even a sony original exclusive that got its start on a playstation platform.
